Mysore-style is the traditional method of practicing Astanga Yoga as taught by Sri K. Pattabhi Jois and the Ashtanga Yoga Research Institute of Mysore, India. It consists of a set sequence of postures which are taught individually allowing students to practice and develop at their own pace. This is a self practice guided by a teacher and is appropriate for all levels from beginner to advanced.
