Mysore (assisted self practice) Class

Aime MacDonald has been a student of Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga since 2008. She was first drawn to the practice by its meditative yet vigorous nature but continues to find inspiration by its ability to focus and challenge both the body and mind. Having trained in Canada, Qatar and India, Aime has had the opportunity to study with many highly-regarded teachers, such as John Scott, Saraswathi Jois, Rolf & Marci Naurojat, Petri Raisanan, Chuck Miller, Joey Miles and Valerie Jeremijenko, who continues to be a great source of knowledge and guidance. Having completed her 500hr YTT, Aime enjoys sharing her love and enthusiasm of the practice to students of all levels. While staying consistent and true to the traditional Ashtanga Yoga method, she believes it’s important to adapt her teaching to ensure that the practice can be accessible, enjoyable and beneficial to all.
