Positive Meditation and Mindfulness

Mindfulness means maintaining a moment-by-moment awareness of our thoughts, feelings, bodily sensations, and surrounding environment.(Greater Good Science Center at the University of California at Berkeley). It has three main components: Intention, Attention and Attitude. A recent research conducted at University of East London has proven that meditating and practicing mindful focus on positive emotions increases the levels of happiness and wellbeing. Furthermore it is scientifically proven that practicing mindfulness on a regular basis decreases levels of stress, anxiety, depressions and cardiovascular abnormalities such as heart attacks high blood pressure.

In our sessions we will practice positive meditations such as: gratitude, compassion to self and others, hope, strengths and meaning, We will exercise our attention with mindful practices from our daily lives such as mindful sitting, breathing, drinking, walking and smiling. We will have a different theme for every drop in class and will share with you daily practices and resources to use at home.

Between any event and your response is a space. Join us to re-gain back your awareness and enjoy the freedom of choice in that space.

Mahmoud Khater

Classes run by Mahmoud Khater, Associate Certified Coach, Mindfulness Meditation teacher, Certified Leader for Mindfulness Strength Based Practice and a Certified Positive Psychology coach. He is passionate about making the world better, one word at a time. He enjoys coaching, speaking, training and helping people to transform to their best self. He is an expert in leadership and applying its tactics into leading yourself, your family, your career, your team and your society to flourish. He’s also a father for Judie and Omar, likes traveling, scuba-diving and coaching.
