Veena Rabadia

Veena Rabadia is a mother of two spirited girls, an artist, a yoga teacher and generally a creative social butterfly, imaginative and forever an optimist with realistic expectations the arts and yoga is her true passion, freedom of expressions and movement are combined to create soulful classes, which honour a traditional linage full of inspiring rituals, mudras, and practices that honour the ancient Tantras. Having studied at the prestigious Loughborough University and graduating with a BA Hons in 3-D Design, thus allowing Veena to collaborate with various artists over the past 14 years and continues to work within the creative industries. Specialising in working with communities and
families through Funk N Play which Veena set up soon after arriving in Doha, “Learning Through Creative Play” sessions that allow families to bond with their children using imagination, music, visual arts, puppets and stories in a holistic manner.

Trained by the ever-radiant Shiva Rea in Prana Flow Vinyasa and specialist courses like prenatal, postnatal, and children’s yoga with the inspiring Uma Dinsmore-Tuli, Janine Hurley, with continual professional development in yoga nidra and daily self- practice, Veena empowers you to explore the many different limbs of yoga through compassion and in a nurturing environment, creating that
sacred space on your mat. Prana flow is a meditative practice that allows you to connect to your creative self, whilst the pregnancy classes offers mothers to be a practise that helps to alleviate any discomforts, bond with your babies and create a safe and nurturing circle that is steeped with in-depth practical movement and breath work to use during labour. During the postnatal period mothers and babies are welcomed again to a sacred circle to connect to their inner teacher and wisdom to see you through this new journey through massage, rhymes and asanas that help to heal the body from within and deepen that everlasting bond a mother has with her child, through touch,
sound and movement. Birth educations workshops are offered to anyone wishing to seek a deeper understanding of pregnancy, birth and baby care.
