Lesley Gray – RYT 500, E-RYT 200

Originally from Richmond, Virginia (USA), Lesley began her yoga journey as a college student after a doctor recommended it to her for lifetime maintenance of her back following childhood spinal fusion surgery. She completed her 200-hr teacher training in 2011 in astanga vinyasa under her teacher and mentor Valerie Jeremijenko and her 300-hr advanced yoga training in yin yoga and yoga anatomy in 2014 with her teachers Paul and Suzee Grilley and she continues to train with them annually in both functional anatomy and yoga philosophy. As an avid practitioner of vinyasa, ashtanga and yin, she weaves these traditions into her teachings, finding inspiration in them all. She has taught at Yama Yoga Studios in Doha, Qatar since 2011.

Currently based in Dubai, UAE, Lesley continues to teach workshops at Yama Yoga Studios with a focus on anatomy, chi and meridian theory, exploring physical and mental release through asana and meditation. She has taught vinyasa and yin yoga studio classes and yin/yang yoga workshops in both Qatar and Bulgaria, and has guest-taught vinyasa yoga in Baku, Azerbaijan. Using her extensive training in anatomy under Paul and Suzee Grilley, Lesley also teaches functional anatomy and meridian theory for the Yama Yoga teacher training programs in Qatar and Bulgaria.
